Mushy Romanticalness!!!

I kind of feel bad for constantly putting up the cute things Tom says to me...

I don't want to embarrass him but he keeps saying the sweetest things to me 

and i just have to share SOME of it with y'all!!

He's fully aware that i have this blog he reads it often..

so he know's what i'm up to ;)

BUT REALLY...HE IS THE SWEETEST!!!!!

This is what he said after he opened everything from his valentines package :)

 "I kind of went a bit speechless there..Emily this is all so amazing i can't believe it!! 

Your card and letter, i love them! I love it when you get mushy in your letters!! 

The smile across my face is pretty ridiculous!

swoooooooooooooooooooooon!!!

Today i am lucky enough to get to Skype with him for 2 or 3 hours :-)

It's been a week and a half since we last skyped so we're both pretty ready for it!

 I am such a lucky lucky lady...well i would be luckier if he was here...

BUT soon that will be the case ;) 

AND since i know Tom is reading this i'll just add to the mush ;)

Valentines box for Tom :-)

So Tom and i decided to send each other something for valentines day.

We called them valentines boxes since they were packages going through the mail.

Valentines boxes turned into valbox's because we got lazy!!

HE GOT HIS YESTERDAY!!!!!! :-)

He got his 3 days early, which is amazing since i just sent it last friday..

Holla at the US Postal system!!!!

He was so cute when he got it, he texted me right away
and then he had a dilema....wait to open it or open it now...
I told him to open it or he would have waited for mine to arrive ;)
I was just so excited and i knew it would kill him to wait haha

I kept an eye out for valentines swag as soon as Christmas was over.
I think i ended up finding a few gems...in Target especially!!!! :)
He even layed it all out so perfectly and took a picture for me
so i could blog about it today haha :)

So what we have here is the following:
1. A Be Mine garland ;) I just thought it was cute!!!
2. Hot Tamales...I occasionally refer to Tom as a Hot TOMale ;)
3. Teddy Bear because american tradition says you have to send a stuffed animal to your
valentine. There's also an inside story as to why it's a bear but that's only for us to know ;)
4. Box of chocolates with a cat on them AND  cat pun on a sticky note...
One thing about our relationship is it's silly...Cat puns are occasionally thrown into every conversation we've ever had....and i love it!!!
5. Card/Letter with mushy romantical stuff in both ;)

So there you have it...that is what i sent Tom :)
He loved all of it
{Do you blame him}

So now....We wait for mine....I'm not good at waiting...in fact i'm horrible at it!!!
But i'm excited haha This Valentines week is off to an amazing start!! :)

Valentines Week!!

Ah Valentines Day.

Or should i say Valentines WEEK...

I've never really cared much for this day,

But now i'm dedicating a whole week to it!!!

It's probably because i have a package coming my way..

From Mr. Tom ;)

 

By this time on thursday i hope to be swooning over a big heart shaped package of goodies!!!

Ok well it might not be heart shaped but that's all i'll see!!

 

We are having our big valentines skype date on wednesday because we're both busy Thursday.

I'll have a full report of the skate for you all on thursday :)

Last time we talked i got to meet his Parents and little sister.

This time it will just be the two of us and as much as i enjoyed meeting the family

I'm going to love just spending a few hours talking to him!!

ALSO..plane ticket will be bought soon!!! {insert girly giggles here}
AND you should be hearing from Tom on here soon :)

How to make a Blogger Button w/ Text box!!!

FINALLY!!!!

So i have been on the lookout for a blogger tutorial for creating your own button

with the text box underneath and it's been so hard to find...

Well that's a lie, there are tons of them out there but they were all way too complicated

for me to follow...since i have no experience with coding!!

But i am happy to say i have FINALLY found an amazing website that literally

explained it like they were talking to a 5 year old and i instantly got it.

So i now have buttons for you to steal or swap or whatever :-)

I am like so so excited about this.

I really want to start swapping buttons with people so if you are a swapper

and you like what you see here well please let me know and I will gladly put you in

my sidebar if i feel our blogs would co-habitate nicely!! :)

Well I think most of you by now are familiar with Tom!

So you may know where i'm headed...

I guess if this was a normal situation then there would be no question as to our officialness...

I don't think it's fair to measure how you feel about someone 

with how close they are in proximity to you!!  

Especially if you are doing everything in your power to stay connected.

My mom always tells me...

Ok, well then there you go.

I think i'm one of the very few people in this world in this particular situation.
I mean I can say i have a guy from England flying thousands of miles just 

so he can hang out with me....
That's AMAZING!!!

I think if the boy planning to fly thousands of miles just to see you

isn't your boyfriend..then you probably should reevaluate whats happening! 

Of course when he gets here the officialness of it all will actually sink in :)
That's something we are both excited about!!

Hey guys..I can't feel my nose..

have you ever been so cold that you run over to your friends yelling
"I CANT FEEL MY NOSE"
"GUYS is my nose still on my face???? I can't feel it...i'm so cold"
Yeeeaaaaa....That was me a year ago.

Here's the story!

We spent a day in Arles France...you know the town Caesar established in like 40 A.D. or something like that...Well we learned a lot while we were here...
We learned about Bull Fights...and the this is where Van Gogh was when he cut off his ear!!
We also learned not to Dilly Dally when preparing to leave...

See we had a train to catch so the morning we were planning to leave we were just hanging out in the hotel lobby just chillaxin....waiting for word on when it's time to go...

ALERT FIRE ON THE TRACKS..
Yes there happens to be a fire on the tracks while we're sitting in the hotel.
Word get's to us that all trains scheduled are cancelled...
Well we still have to leave somehow...
So it's announced to us in a PANICKED tone that there is hope.
There is a bus waiting at the train station...only problem is it's leaving in 5 minutes.
{This is like the scene from home alone when the family wakes up late but
they still have to get to the airport on time or they will miss their flight}
Chaos ensues...

We grab our bags and start running...The train station i'll have you know is about a 10 minute walk...down curvy hilly french streets...
We are running....
Did i mention we are running against the wind and the temperature is well below −1
Yet we continue to Run..we have to catch the bus!!
did i mention we have 3 little one's on the trip with us who also have to run...
DID I MENTION WE HAVE A RENTED CAR WE HAVE TO TURN BACK IN....
we are running....

We get to the train station just as the bus out front...pulls...away!!
Defeated we all go into the train station and that's when i panic because i can't feel my nose...
We end up sitting in the station for about 2 hours being serenaded by a terrifying homeless man!!

2 HOURS LATER

We find out that there is another bus..PRAISE..
but the bus is in town...by our hotel....where we just were 2 hours ago...
we still have the car that needs to be turned in...
Since we have the car we decide to put it to good use...
We put all of our bags in the car and Blynn our trip parent takes the bags up to the bus stop..
He takes one of the group members up there too so they can stay with the bags while he goes to turn the car in..We didn't have to run this time but walking back up the hill you just ran down was pretty exhausting...not to mention annoying!!

We get to to bus stop but Blynn still isn't there....we're loading onto the bus..blynn still isn't here..
Come to find out the car place was closed for lunch...So we had to leave blynn in Arles..
He caught the next bus to our next stop Aix en Provence.

We were all reunited later that day!!!
